Build a Box allows your customers to create their own product bundle by selecting items from a collection. Once they meet the required quantity, the discount is automatically applied, providing a flexible shopping experience while increasing your average order value (AOV).

Steps to Create a Build a Box Offer

Step 1: Open the FAD App

From your Shopify Admin, navigate to Apps → FAD – Auto Discounts.

Step 2: Create a New Offer

Click the Create Offer button to start creating a new discount.

Step 3: Select Build a Box

From the available offer types, choose Build a Box.

Step 4: Enter the Offer Name

Provide a descriptive name for your offer. This name is for internal use and helps you identify the offer later.

Example:

• Build Your Own Snack Box
• Pick Any 6 & Save 20%

Step 5: Choose the Product Collection

Select the collection that contains the products customers can choose from when building their box.

Only products from this collection will be displayed in the Build a Box widget.

Step 6: Set the Required Quantity

Enter the minimum number of products customers must add to qualify for the offer.

Example:

• Buy any 4 products
• Buy any 6 products

Step 7: Select the Discount Type

Choose how the discount should be applied.

Available discount types include:

• Percentage Discount
• Fixed Amount Discount
• Fixed Price (if available)

Step 8: Enter the Discount Value

Specify the discount amount based on the selected discount type.

Examples:

• 15% Off
• $20 Off
• Fixed Price

Step 9: Save the Offer

Click Save to activate your Build a Box offer.
