1. What is Shipoff and how does it work?
Shipoff allows you to create and apply shipping discounts based on conditions you set. You can offer fixed-price or percentage-based shipping discounts to improve conversions and reward customers.
2. Do I need to edit my Shopify theme to use Shipoff?
No. Shipoff is a plug-and-play app. Once installed, it works instantly without any theme code changes.
3. Do I need coding knowledge to use Shipoff?
No. The app is fully no-code. You can create and manage shipping offers directly from the Shopify admin.
4. Can I create multiple shipping discount rules?
Yes. You can create multiple rules, but Shopify currently limits you to 25 active automatic discounts at a time.
5. Does Shipoff work with draft orders?
Not at the moment. Shopify’s Shipping Discount API does not support draft orders.
6. What weight units can I use for conditions?
You can set conditions in Pounds (lb), Ounces (oz), Kilograms (kg), or Grams (g).
7. Will the app slow down my store?
No. Shipoff is lightweight and uses Shopify’s native API, ensuring no negative impact on your site speed.
8. Is there a free trial?
Yes. Shipoff offers a 7-day free trial on all paid plans. Development stores can use the app for free.
9. Will the discounts show automatically at checkout?
Yes. Once conditions are met, the discount applies automatically without customers entering a code.
10. Can I pause or disable the app without deleting my settings?
Yes. You can disable the app in settings, and your customizations will be saved for future use.
