Important Notes Before You Start:

Each theme needs to have the widget installed separately.

The widget will update automatically to the latest version.

It works with all themes from the Shopify Theme Store. If you’re using a custom theme, please contact us.

To avoid affecting your live store, we recommend working on a duplicate theme first.

Steps to Duplicate a Shopify Theme:

• Go to your Shopify Admin.
• On the left-hand side, click Online Store > Themes

Find your current theme.

• It will be labeled as “Current theme” on the screen.
• Click the three dots (⋯) next to the Customize button of your live theme.

From the dropdown, click on “Duplicate”

Enable Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip in your theme

Step #1:

• In Online Store > Themes, find the theme you’d like to add our widget from.
• Then click on the Customize button of the theme.

Step #2:

• On the left sidebar, click the App Embeds icon.
• In the search bar, type “shipzip”.
• When “Shipping & Delivery – ShipZip” appears, toggle the switch ON.
• Click the Save button in the top-right corner

Step #3:

• Go to Sections by clicking the first icon above the app embeds.
• Open any of your products.
• Click Add to cart on the product page.
• Then, click the Cart icon in the top right corner to open the Cart page.

Note: Remove the Buy it now button if it’s not needed to streamline the checkout process.

Step #5: 

• On the Cart page, Add Section.
• In the Apps, Search for “shipzip“, then select and add the Order Delivery Date widget.

Step #6:

• Align the widget to your preferred position.
• Click Save to apply the changes.

Note: You can preview how it looks before clicking Publish to make it live.
