With the Shipoff: Shipping Offer app, you can create customized shipping discount rules to encourage customers to complete their purchases. Follow these steps to create your first rule.

Step 1: Open the Shipoff App > Click on > Create Shipping Discount 

Step 2: Choose the rule -> Shipping discount – Rule set 1 (Multiple)

Click on Create Customization.

Step 3: Choose the discount methods:

• Automatic Discount: Discount will be applied automatically at checkout
• Discount Code: Customers need to add the discount code manually.

Step 4: Add the shipping discount title for internal use only.

Note: A Discount rule name must be unique otherwise you will face the “must be unique” error.

Step 5: Combine the discount with other discount:

• Product discounts: If enabled, this shipping discount will still apply when a product discount is active at checkout. If disabled, it won’t apply with product discounts.
• Order discounts: If enabled, this shipping discount will still apply when an order discount is active at checkout. If disabled, it won’t apply with order discounts.

Step 6: After adding details click “Create”.

Step 7: Manage Status for the customization rule “Active” or “Deactivated”.

Step 8: This rule has a tier option, so add  the title of tier.

Step 9: You can enable or disable the tier using the status setting.

Step 10: Delivery method name match:

In this section, you define which delivery method(s) the shipping discount will apply to.

Delivery methods name match options:

• Contains: Applies the discount if the delivery method name contains the entered keyword.
• Exact:  Applies the discount only if the delivery method name exactly matches the entered text.
• All: Applies the discount to all available delivery methods.
• Location Base: Applies the discount based on the delivery location set in your store.

Example:

If you enter Standard Shipping and choose Exact, the discount will only apply when the checkout delivery method is exactly “Standard Shipping.”

Step 11: Apply Discount On Selected Below

This setting controls which delivery methods the discount will apply to, based on your selection.

Options:

• Apply discount on selected below: The discount will only apply to the shipping methods you list below.
• Apply discount on all except those selected below: The discount will apply to all shipping methods except the ones you list below.

Step 12: In this field, enter the name of the shipping/delivery method exactly as it appears in your Shopify store’s settings.

Step 13: Now select how the rules will be applied all or any.

Step 14: Select rule type for the shipping discount, there are a lot of options available.

Step 15: Rule Condition Options:

• Greater than or equals: The discount will apply if the value is greater than or equal to the amount you set.
• Less than or equals: The discount will apply if the value is less than or equal to the amount you set.

Step 16: Enter the value or details as per you choose the rule.

Step 17: If you want to add more conditions then click on “Add Condition”.

Step 18: As the example below, we’ve created multiple conditions.

Step 19: Enter the “Shipping discount label”, It will be visible to customers at checkout.

Step 20: Choose how the shipping discount will be calculated and applied.

Options:

• Fix discount: Deducts a fixed amount from the shipping cost.
• Percentage discount: Reduces the shipping cost by a set percentage.
• Custom shipping rate: Applies a custom shipping cost instead of the standard rate.
• Percentage of cart sub-total: Calculates the discount as a percentage of the total cart value.
• Percentage of collection total: Calculates the discount as a percentage of the total value of items from a specific collection.
• Fix discount of multiply cart qty: Applies a fixed discount multiplied by the total quantity of items in the cart.
• Percentage of multiply cart qty: Applies a percentage discount multiplied by the total quantity of items in the cart.

Step 21: Add the discount value as per the discount type.

Step 22: When enabled, the fixed shipping discount will be divided proportionally if an order is shipped from multiple locations or involves split shipping.

Example:

If you set a fixed discount of $10 and the order ships from two locations, each shipment will receive a $5 discount.

Step 23: You can discount tier for another rule(If required)

Step 24: Tier 2 is created, this is only for knowledge purpose if you want to create multiple tiers then it’s possible.

Step 25: Schedule discounts as per needs or run continuously.

Step 26: Click “Create” to save the rule.
